Product Description

The active light range lead is designed for daily walks and adventures with your dog. This lead is extremely durable and reliable without using tough or rough materials.

This lead is created from a highly reflective 3M nylon webbing. We endeavour to create a comfortable walking experience, this is why we have lined this handle with a soft, quick drying and odourless Neoprene material. This also prevents friction burns which can be caused by other branded leads.

The length of this lead is 1.4 metres in length from handle to clasp and is 2.5cm in width. We offer a lifetime guarantee on the hardware of this lead, made of stainless steel, protecting it from rusting.

This lead can be used in conjunction with any of our collars.

FAQs

To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.

Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.

If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.

The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
